Duration of ownership: 1 Days
Strengths: Free, simple to use, many options
Weaknesses: A Help manual would be nice. But if you have a batch rename project, then you're probably smart enough to figure it out.
Overall Evaluation: This is a nice, little, FREE batch file re-name program. The preview pane shows you exactly what the new filename(s) will look like before you do the deed and there's a handy Undo button in case you don't like the results. There are probably better, and more glamorous applications out there, but for the price, you can't beat this.
