Overall Evaluation: Unbelievably worthless. I operate a Dell Dimension 8400 with an Intel motherboard. Immediately after this program installed, it shut my entire system down. I tried to restart, but all I ever got was the yellow light, no green light. It would not even let the BIOS run. I wish I had read the other ratings on this before I installed. How PC World can advocate a piece of junk software like this is bewildering. I agree with the previous post of another user with a Dell 8400 - DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM!! THE FIX - Since I could not even enter the BIOS, I simply opened the case up and reset the BIOS by popping the BIOS battery out and replacing. Then my system started fine. I reset the system clock, and then promptly deleted Intel Active Monitor. HORRIBLE PROGRAM.

Overall Evaluation: Run, run away! Very bad - shut down system immediately without any warnings or errors of any kind. Had to resort to system restore on my windows xp machine. Reboot was not good enough, had to pull the plug before system would even respond.

Overall Evaluation: If you have a Dell 8400 do not download this utility. It attempted to toally disable my system. Luckily I was able to do a hard reset and jump to my latest restore point.

Weaknesses: This product completely disabled my computer without one piece of interaction with the install process. My computer won't even bring up the intial boot screen.
Overall Evaluation: 20 years of goofin' off (professionally) with PCs. NEVER has this happened. Unbelievable. I am now going to have to take my computer into a shop and hopefully get the bios reset. DO NOT RUN THIS PRODUCT.
