  Strengths: It appears I having problems posting my comment from GOED

  Weaknesses: Corruption of other default players when UNINSTALLING.

  Overall Evaluation: The problems is caused when VLC program is UNINSTALL. REVO is very efficient in tracking entries from the program you are CURRENTLY UNINSTALLING. Therefore, what I am trying to say is that Revo was mislead due to the entries that were made under my default player WMP. Yes Revo gives me the option to delete them. KNOWING how accurate Revo is in pointing to the prgram entries I trusted it 100 percent since it has never fail me with other programs. VLC should have not made entries under my default player. Further more, although this may be insulting to the Author, looking at how it completely disable my default player, IT IS AS IF VLC IS PLAYING THE GAME OF - IF YOU DON'T WANT ME THEN I AM GOING TO DESTROY YOUR CURRENT DEFAULT PLAYER AS WELL. Even if I am going a bit overboad with this comment, a well written program should not cause any problems when Uninstalling. Anyway, I hope that you guys don't run into trouble running this application if you ever have to uninstall it. And seriously take a good look at The KMPLAYER.. Sorry for the 3 post but this program, VLC cause serious problems for me.

  Strengths: Everything .. plays all formats, very clean interface, no additional bloat.

  Weaknesses: None !!

  Overall Evaluation: The best media player available - every PC should have this app installed and configured as the default media player.

  Strengths: Free, very customizable, pretty fast. I downloaded the version that could just be unzipped, and it is pretty good.

  Weaknesses: Not any that I can think of

  Overall Evaluation: This is a very good video player. Use it instead of Windows Media Player.

  Strengths: Very stable multi format player. Was amazed at how it easily handled what I thru at it.

  Duration of ownership: 2 Years

  Strengths: This will play just about everything. If a DVD or file is slugish using another program, VLC will play it as smooth as silk.

  Weaknesses: The only thing I don't like, and this is so minor it's laughable, is you con't use esc to exit full screen you have to double click.

  Overall Evaluation: This is just about the only program I use any more. I also install it on all the computers I work on.
