    Strengths: NONE

    Weaknesses: Almost everything

    Overall Evaluation: They are riding on the name of TweakUI for xp. If you do a serch and add vista this program pops up all over the place. If half of the basic programs do not work why would anyone pay their yearly supscription fee to see if anything there works.

    Strengths: Very nice, great Vista tweaks. Many are already available throught Vista but nice to have one place to go.

    Weaknesses: Can't keep the Shut Down/Restart icons working, somehow the command.exe program keeps disappearing from the TweakVI folder. I've reinstalled several times, same result.

    Weaknesses: Everything

    Overall Evaluation: I was hoping as a new member that PC World made sure their products worked before letting us download them. I guess not. This program does not work. I used it to remove the arrows off of my shortcuts, and it never worked again, even after re-installation.

    Strengths: It's free.

    Weaknesses: Half of the available tweaks that iare enabled, do not work.

    Overall Evaluation: When I discovered that the tweaks that I wanted to incorporate did not work, such as skinning IE, I decided to restore the snapshots that I had taken prior to tweaking anything. So, it screwed everything up and I had to do a system restore. Then I had to fight to get my icons back on to my context menu. Read the agreement, it says that the creator of the software is not responsible for any ill effects on your machine. To be fair though, I have tried another vista tweak manager and it failed miserably to. I think these apps need to wait a bit longer for releasing untried and untrue tweaks for vista, seeing as how there are so many different versions. They should also specify in the program which versions of vista the tweaks are compatible with. Yes, I am very computer literate. The tweaking apps are much like the hardware and software manufacturers/publishers, they are not ready for vista. Stay away from tweak managers on vista for about a year.
