Strengths: I was too preoccupied with trying to correct the problems it caused to notice any good points it may have had.
Weaknesses: Caused me glacial (really glacial!)Internet speed and prevented Vista from shutting down (I came back after having been gone 1 1/2 hours and Vista was still trying to shut down).
Overall Evaluation: If you like living dangerously give this Rube Goldberg program a try, it might work for you. If you don't see much appeal in waving red flags at bulls with big horns or juggling live hand grenades, don't mess with this program. Whatever you do be sure to back up everything you don't want to lose before you let this program loose in your computer. God Bless automatic daily backup programs, The only way I could get rid of the problems this beast caused was to wipe my hard drive and re-install everything.

I have trusted it much more than any other program of it's magnitude, even to the point of highly recomending it to others. If they're not smart enough to take advantage of this program, I feel sorry for them.

Overall Evaluation: advanced system care pro cleaned up my computer in every way possible, including things most people don't realize is on their machines, improved modem speed, fixed vulnerable parts of vista, which cured many problems with that program.

Strengths: Got new customers that wanted it removed
Weaknesses: none, does an excellent job of installing crapware. Sneaks right past some users and installs software, toolbars, and downloaders, also makes changes to the computer that is not necessarily desirable.
Overall Evaluation: I've gotten several new customers that tried to use this software and others to keep their computer running proper or to improve the computers performance. Of course I got the phone call and the business, thank you IObit, without you I'd have 3 less customers, good job.

Overall Evaluation: It's absolutely handy for those who has no idea what to do with computers. It disabled my rightmouse-click-options! Now I'm rebooting for the third time in less than one hour and when I'm lucky to have access again to my machine I'll delete it permanently! Crap!!

Overall Evaluation: I downloaded this because you said it no longer attempts to install the Yahoo toolbar. Admittedly, it didnât and I was considering an upgrade to the paid version. Until⦠⢠First, the nag screen at each start-up advising a new version was available. I was not yet ready to upgrade to the paid version, so decided to upgrade the free one. The upgrade immediately tried to install the IObit toolbar and change my search engine to Yahoo. Fortunately, I watch each stage of any upgrade and prevented this. ⢠Then, at the end of installation the software tried to install a downloader which I suspect would have attached to my browser and gave the initial impression it was downloading and installing the update. ⢠I realised the âad freeâ âclean installationâ offered through PCWorld was engineered to get the software on our PCâs, then nag for the update with all the crap cleaned from the PCWorld download. Fortunately, my vigilance caught and stopped the installation and I immediately removed the software from my PC because⦠⢠Any decent software would and some do give free versions without the crap, with extras in a paid version. ⢠Good software sells on its merits, not advertising (which I suspect would be another intrusion had I let the upgrade continue) or social engineering, misdirection and furtive installation techniques or any other frankly subliminal installation techniques. ⢠I refuse to have on my machine any software that uses such techniques, even if they are removed from a paid version. So, rather than getting this rubbish on my PC, they have just lost a potential paying customer. PCWorld, once again has not investigated the software they promote thoroughly. Or they perceive the rewards, if any are worth the deceit. Either way, this sort of poor advice will soon begin to lose you readers.

Strengths: Be suspicious when they're all 5-star reviews. Notice a pattern here? Every review says almost the same thing: Weaknesses: None so far... Every reviewer seems to be a non-native speaker of English. Generally there is a bigger ratio of literate people. It's like every now & then the maker pays someone from a third-world country to leave a glowing but robotic review.
Weaknesses: Its method of promotion?
Overall Evaluation: Haven't downloaded the product yet because I wanted to research it first. To be honest I haven't found much bad, but this could be part of the reason why!

Strengths: The combination of tools in one interface
Weaknesses: Does not do anything new that Ccleaner a light weight applications can do and Ccleaner errs in the side of caution more then this application does
Overall Evaluation: Don't recomeneded, I have tried various versions of the software and although it is easier to use and tries to make changes to system file to try protected them. At the beginning one of the options is not inaculate files from possible infections - The problem is that that includes system files that Antivirus have to read on access. Advance System care keeps the Antivirus from checking contents of new or system files it has inaculated - Therefore voiding the purpose of a dedicated Antivirus/Antimalware program. The inaculations takes place by using a list updated from the webisite to mark files as safe and put about 2000 files on the Trusted Zone in internet Explorer - Now those files are locked onto the Trusted Zone allowing hackers from finding holes that could give them acces to the computer - or keeping your Antivirus from checking them correctly. Worst part is that when you un-instal, Advance System Care leaves all those 2000 plus files locked into the Trusted Zone in Internet Explorer and you have to go in and delete them manually. In the case of the Regystry cleaner, it is very very much the same results with Ccleaner - nothing extraordinarily special and yet lacks better explanations of what the entries are. It looks nice, but don't be fooled by the look of the applications. I have yet to find a combo applications that when compare to an individual program such as Ccleaner for cleaning junk and the register - That Advance SystemCare does a better job - No so in my opinion.

Strengths: This program runs well with XP, Vista and windows 7. The interface is straight forward and it does exactly what is advertised. Beyond that, it has D.O.D. strength wiper for your junk files and a huge amount of privacy wipe settings. can be setup to clean several areas of pc with just a couple clicks.
Weaknesses: As with all registry cleaners, if you decide to run the registry cleaner just be sure of what you delete because false possitives are a possibility, although this feature can be turned off if you arent familiar with registry values. Also, the program backs up before any changes and it does actually work for registry keys as well as the other modifications it makes. DO NOT BE ALARMED by the number of security defense problems on first scan, it is trying to inform you need to block them not saying you HAVE 9000 viruses.
Overall Evaluation: Very good program, especially for free. Give it a try, very much worth the effort of downloading.

It doesn't push a sell for something else and it delivers about all one needs to keep his/her computer clean and running well. The program has not removed anything that caused harm to the system. I highly recommend this software.

Strengths: it finds basically every single bug possible. it gave me lists of thousands of fixes, even though i already run a lot of antivirus and spyware programs on my computer. it also is very easy to use and has tons of features
Weaknesses: CAUTION! be carful what you delete! especially some registry and file fixes, some are important to windows. i deleted some important files/registry keys and my system crashed. i had to boot it using my vista CD given when i bought the computer.
Overall Evaluation: read above. it finds tons of viruses, just be carful what you delete. i had to boot using vista recovery CD, found myself with BSOD, but managed to recover using the CD's built-in restore tool, it allowed me to access my crashed OS's restore points. Great product, but must be careful! i recommend this for someone who knows what they are doing.

Strengths: Have found it easy to use, but do no use the registry cleaner. Comes with alot of useful programs.
Weaknesses: The instruction "manual" is not as clear as it could be. Also I make sure to use the registry backup (system restore)that comes with the computer before using it did not work for me when I wanted to bring an unimportant piece back (thankfully did not need it but wanted to test the system restore that comes with the program.
Overall Evaluation: If not for the programs system restore would give a 5 star

Strengths: The program does alone what requires four or more programs to do. It is very quick, and most effective for a wide variety of needs. Defrags,System check, disc check,privacy check, spy ware removal, registry fix, junk file removal,connection and system optimizer, short cut fixer, and the list goes on. This is the best all in one utility out there. Use it in addition to your firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs. It is a one click system to do so much. Doing a Disk Check can take a long time on a reboot through the normal system. Doing it with Advanced System Care is amazingly fast.
Weaknesses: Honestly have found none. However, I would not rely on it alone for total care of anti-virus and anti-spyware issues, use it in conjunction with other credible programs.
Overall Evaluation: Superior...I used the free version for over a year, was most impressed. Purchased the upgrade to Pro version for a significant reduced promotional price. Don't see a lot of difference, the free version will do the job just fine if you don't choose to up grade. I am amazed at the number of bad reviews. Simply cannot give this product a greater endorsement than to say I have tried hundreds of programs over the years and this is a MUST have program. Will make your computing life a lot more enjoyable and easier.HONESTLY !! Get it TODAY. You will be glad you did ! I am 70 years old and have not connections or affiliations to anyone one or any company, just love living in this new information age of electronics. Strengths: Ease of use, After 2 weeks upgraded to paid edition. Well worth the cost.
Weaknesses: Some parts of the UI are still under development.
Overall Evaluation: Easy to use comprehensive program for system clean-up, Reg. fixes, Spy-ware removal. Instead of using 3 or 4 different Apps. just use one and you get all the Bells and Whistles. No conflicts on Ultimate or a laptop using Premium. Highly Recommend.

Overall Evaluation: I've been using this program at least once a week and absolutely love it. Have had ZERO problems with it and each time it runs it finds and repairs many problems. I always get better speed, especially if I've gotten a bit sludged down from downloads infested with crap. I also use all the spyware freebies and Trend Micro's PC-cillin. I recommend this to my clients and haven't had any problems out there. Fast, effective and free. Doesn't get any better than that!

Weaknesses: Like i said up top there,the (Registry Cleaner),is not all up to (Par),i use (Registry Mech:),and then will run (AWC),and it will say i have (Quote this is an estimate)10,15,things it found? So,i really get confuced? Then the (Spy-Ware),thing,well i use (Zone Alarm Secuity Suite),and do a system scan,to clean that spy-ware up,and then use (AWC) Advanced Windows Care Pro,i have,and it will find one or 3-4-5 things?? So,it kinda leaves you there trying to figure out (Which one is better??!!!?? ),and yes i have tryed it both ways turn one off,and scan and turn one on and scan? So,id say the (Freebie),is the best one!!
