Strengths: I find PDF XchangeViewer to be the simplest, fastest and most robust pdf viewer in the market.
Weaknesses: no weaknesses
Overall Evaluation: I love the new smooth scrolling. Editing, commenting, highlighting for free, lightweight, an easy-to-use UI... It does exactly what I want!

Strengths: Excellent and very complete and useful interface. Image extraction better than Acrobat´s. Performs functions that are pay in other software.
Weaknesses: I like this Viewer and it makes my work nice and easy.
Overall Evaluation: Now I have new version 2.5.191. I downloaded it on www. tracker-software.com. On this site I found many answers about my asks (http://www.tracker-software.com/knowledgebase or forum). I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone needing to work with PDF files takes a look at the free PDF-XChange Viewer from Tracker Software - which does numerous things that the FREE version of Foxit wont - it also offers support for XFA PDF form files (as used by many Gov't depts etc) - which neither Foxit nor Nitro do. The support is also excellent and free!

Strengths: Fast, stable, extensive markup capabilities (sticky notes, highlighting, typing, etc), range of other features, *free!*
Weaknesses: Could be a bit more customizable. For instance, there's apparently no way to change the default font size or style on sticky notes (although the default background color can be changed)
Overall Evaluation: Amazing range of features for a free program. Definitely recommended. BTW, the editorial review totally missed the point of the loupe tool. It's not to zoom in (there's a separate tool for that). It's more like a "picture-in-picture" tool that allows you to view one part of the document in a small window, while being on a completely different page -- very cool!

Strengths: I was suprised at how easy it was to use. It loads fast and allows me to note/highlight PDF files before forwarding to them to someone else.
Weaknesses: Does not create PDF files, but tells you that right up frong!
Overall Evaluation: One of my favorite downloads
