Duration of ownership: 3 Months
Strengths: Most of it works
Weaknesses: Help files are missing and searching the internet, so far, has not produced any.
Overall Evaluation: With help files to use as a guide, this could be a usable substitute for PhotoShop. Without help files, it really isn't of much use at all.

Strengths: Good User Interface and Icons. Seems pretty complete in terms of functionality, compared with PhotoShop/PaintShopPro.
Weaknesses: Really unstable! When trying to add Text to an image, for example, the text entry pop-up would suddenly disappear, the font size would revert back to the previous setting, etc. Extremely frustrating to use.
Overall Evaluation: Not ready for prime time! As mentioned by someone else, it is a beta version, and it really shows it. I do think it has great promise, if the developer chooses to fix the instabilities.

Strengths: unknown, This is a BETA version. Has potential with the right programming for WINDOWS versions especially XP
Weaknesses: Definitely not ready for WINDOWS XP, must seek out the Application EXE and then must seek out among the massive load of menu's how to OPEN a photo file.
Overall Evaluation: WARNING, this is a BETA, lots of bugs to be worked out for WINDOWS users on a PC

Strengths: Lot's of good filters and it's easy to use
Weaknesses: It's not Photoshop and while image processing is good it's still not photoshop
Overall Evaluation: What I like about this package is that it has lots of great filters. Many of these are not available in Photoshop and you would have to spend a few hundred dollars in third party filters to get these. THis package is great if you do not have photoshop or fireworks and you want a free alternative. Either way it is a decent package but it lacks the finesse and speed of professional photo editing software.
