Strengths: Excellent A/V conversion utility to convert video to AppleTV format.

Weaknesses: Can be confusing for new users, but if one selects the built in"Preset" for the device you are creating for, the results are usually quite good.

Overall Evaluation: Once I purchased my AppleTV, I wanted to convert my video library to work with my AppleTV and iTunes. I tried several pay products, the the results were not good; each tended to have unacceptable video quality, and the audio tended to be out of sync with the video by a few hundred milliseconds. Handbrake does not seem to suffer from these issues, and can do a Dolby AC3 passthru mode allowing AplleTV to send Dolby AC3 5.1 Audio to my A/V system.

    Strengths: free

    Weaknesses: ease to use

Overall Evaluation: HandBrake is very popular, I can see it on many website, this is benefit from free, on the other hand, it is difficult to use for many beginner, lack support and weak stability. HandBrake attend technology and ignore interface, I consider iFunia is better than it.
