Strengths: Does a clean uninstall and gets rid of files and folders that normal deinstall does not.
Weaknesses: Cannot deinstall 64-bit programs in Windows 7. Doesn't check the 64-bit program files folder for programs.
Overall Evaluation: Don't use the program because of the 64-bit issue.

Strengths: Had issue with uninstalling a game; this program deleted. Had to use the Advance setting to get rid of game.
Weaknesses: none so far.
Overall Evaluation: Highly recommended.; a must program to have to get rid of stubborn entrys

Strengths: It is small, easier to use than the control panels applet, and it looks for and removes additional registry entries and files that the programs leave littered around your PC. It is entirely free (for personal use).
Weaknesses: It would be wonderful if they could colour code installations by type (known bad actors in red for example), but that might require it to lose its lightweight nature.
Overall Evaluation: I love it.

Overall Evaluation: Does what it says on th tin. It uninstalls programs and apps. And it does it thoroughly. Just follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. For a freebie this IS the bee's knee,s.

Strengths: Does a great job deleting files that were not uninstalled by Windows uninstall.
Weaknesses: Can not say any weaknesses now. Only used it once. Just downloaded it the other day.
Overall Evaluation: For a free product i think it does a great job. I would recomend it to my friends and family.

Strengths: If you want a program that will completely get rid of all traces of a particular program, then this is the one you need.
Weaknesses: None at all.
Overall Evaluation: Have used Revo for over 2 years. I always use the highest setting and have never been disappointed. Have never had any problems by using this program.

Strengths: Does what it's supposed to do and does it extremely well.
Weaknesses: None that I've come across.
Overall Evaluation: If there's a BETTER free uninstaller out there, I don't know about it. Yes, it goes into the registry, but that's not a problem because Revo highlights in boldface font the registry items that are safe to remove, and if you remove ONLY those items that are boldfaced, you won't have any problems. This is by far one of THE BEST apps I have on my computer! Bravo, Revo!

Strengths: Cleans everthing out!
Weaknesses: Not really weakness but a warning! It gors in to registry, you need to be sue you know what you are removing.
Overall Evaluation: This program digs deep and really cleans all traces out of the program. It allows you to to just go easy or do a very aggressive removal. I have used this on 7 different computers and have used the most aggressice setting and haven't had a problem yet but I was set a restore point!

Strengths: Performs exactly as advertised. Gets rid of much scumware (up to 15% of registry size.)
Weaknesses: May take several minutes for bloatware removal, some programs resist removal and have to be forcibly persuaded to go away by its tools. May not list all programs in itemized icon display.

Weaknesses: You could potentially remove something you shouldn't!
Overall Evaluation: I had to remove BitDefender but had probs until I finally used Revo which removed everything I needed it to. I don't always use the complete remove feature, but appreciate that it is there.

Strengths: I has a lot of features. But I haven't fully explored them all yet. So the jury's still out.
Weaknesses: I didn't do what it claimed to do, fully remove all traces of uninstalled programs. I tried it on two different occasions and both times it left behind numerous files behind.
Overall Evaluation: A waste of computer resorces.

Strengths: I have tried numerous other uni00nstall utilities and nothing I have used beats Revo. This wonderful utility first uses the uninstallation software of the unwanted program the same as Add-Remove Programs works, but then Revo goes way beyond that to clean out leftover files and registry entries, the kind of junk left behind by Add-Remove Programs. You can choose among several levels of thoroughness. Revo tells you what Registry entries belong to the unwanted program and allows you to remove them if you choose right from the same screen. The interface is user friendly and Revo is lightning fast.
Weaknesses: When I used Revo to uninstall several downloaded programs, I used the most thorough removal setting and am confident it cleaned my computer of all leftovers. However when I used it to remove Microsoft Streets and Trips, the registry and leftover files cleaner found over 5,000 items, most of which contained the words Microsoft Office or Word; decided to delete none of these items at this time at my limited level of expertise. I don't know if these were all safe to remove, I just chose not to and still have a lot to learn. There are no weaknesses to Revo known to me.
Overall Evaluation: Cannot say enough good about it nor recommend it highly enough. Advanced users will especially appreciate.

Strengths: Found many, many more items that Windows does not find (or doesn't want uninstalled)!! And it finds all the small crap that gets left behind from programs

Overall Evaluation: Very positive! I've been looking for an uninstaller such as this. It gets rid of left over items, that normal Windows uninstall doesn't. Very nice!
