Duration of ownership: 9 Months
Strengths: FREE, and works. Get quick access to ANY folder, by adding it to your favorites folder list. Very small file.
Weaknesses: Works great in XP, works most of time in Vista
Overall Evaluation: Love it. Saves me from tons of folder clicking to get to where I want.

Duration of ownership: 2 Months
Strengths: Simple, elegant, does exactly what it says it does - and does it well, without lots of extra whistles & bells.
Weaknesses: No problems with it conflicting with anything thus far.
Overall Evaluation: This is one of those few & far between programs that you don't know you need but that turn out to be extraordinarily useful. I use Folder Guide multiple times a day.

Strengths: Have had absolutely no difficulties with this product in the XP environment. Very convenient.
Weaknesses:
Overall Evaluation: While I haven't tried it on Vista yet I can vouch for XP. I would not want to give it up.

Strengths: Simple, Intuitive
Weaknesses: Right click menu goes off screen when list becomes too long. User is forced to click on a little down arrow, which moves the menu one line for each click. Would have been great if a second column was started when menu became as tall as the screen.

Duration of ownership: 1 Days
Strengths: Works in W98, a big plus these days and works pretty much as advertised. The fact that it can be used in 'Save as' situations makes it pretty valuable.
Weaknesses: 'Save as' doesn't seem to work in MS Outlook express, but not a biggy. I guess it might be a bit helpful if there was a help file, but it's pretty intuitive and doesn't take long to figure out how to operate.
Overall Evaluation: What more is there to say, it's gonna save me a huge amount of time by not having to go through multiple windows to get to a folder.

Strengths:
Weaknesses: Crashes Word, at least.
Overall Evaluation: I downloaded this package and added one folder to test it out. I clicked on the File/Open diaglog in Word and.....nothing. Word just hung. So I shut down the now non-responsive Word, cranked it up again, and tried again. Same result. I then un-installed Folder Guide, opened up Word again, and all was well. Draw your own conclusions.
