Overall Evaluation: Will not update unless I buy license, ie upgrade to paid PRO. 80-90% of selections are not accessable without upgrading. I spent almost one hour over 2 days trying to get sites to work. No success at all. I cannot understand why PC World wasted half a page reviewing this software unless they had a different version.

Strengths: Picture quality and streaming quite good, but brother... that's ALL.
Weaknesses: Anything worth watching is blocked. This is a TRIAL VERSION with NOTHING to watch. All the "features" are blocked.
Overall Evaluation: SHAME on PCWorld for recommending this piece of CRAP! None of the configuration options work. All channels except local access & SPAM are blocked unless you upgrade to the Pro version. PCWorld needs to pay US for our wasted time in trying their USELESS recommendations like this one!

Overall Evaluation: This little program is really good for someone who doesn't have TV already but does have a computer and broadband access. A lot of content from around the world. Within 5 minutes of downloading I had already found channels to add to my favorits. Like Weather, News, Comedy, and Cartoons. Overall not a bad little utility.

Overall Evaluation: I was not ready to download this software after a bad experience with tv 2.0 but after seeing its size i decided to give it a try. It is very good and does not complain about my internet settings. It does work with vista but i was only able to get a few minutes of tv because of high internet charges from my service provider.

Overall Evaluation: I use this above others, it is easy to use without searching or figuring out and controls or options. I also like how it updates, I get really good channels rather than some knock off cheap and unwatched channels that I have never heard of existing. Really great for people who wants to watch some international tv just as if I was back there again. I give the gui a a plus too.

Overall Evaluation: I am impressed with the client of this application. Definitely a solid upgrade from other apps in this category. It does need some work, but I am sure that work will be done so I give it a 4 stars. I mainly downloaded it to watch NASA TV, which works fine.

Overall Evaluation: Well at least the link works, you get the new V2.14. But, almost every channel you select for TV says that it is not available in the free version. The couple of channels I did get did not seem to be "live:" The Weather Channel for instance, showed a week in review clip with temps in the 100's here at the end of March. Don't waste your time on this- great idea but maybe future versions will be worthwhile.

Overall Evaluation: version 2.10 that the link takes you to does not work and tries to sell up to PRO version. The 2.14 version seems to work until you try a station. 3 of the hundred or so tv stations worked but would rebuffer constantly.The others said you must BUY the pro version to view.After 5 minutes the program locked so I deleted it And that is that!

Overall Evaluation: PCWorld.com visitors who downloaded AnyTV in the past couple of weeks experienced problems with the software as a result of the release of a newer version by FDR Labs. Version 2.14, which is now available from this download page, corrects these problems and supports the full functionality of the software as discussed in the April 2008 issue of the magazine.

Overall Evaluation: Fantastic Freeware Finds? Not hardly! This software won't update the channels without payment. PCWorld should be ashamed for being duped by this vendor and for duping all the readers of the magazine. The best thing to do is to take this URL down and print a retraction in May.

Strengths: Can't complain about the price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most channels don't show, many take a LONG time to buffer before streaming, but those that do show give good picture.
Weaknesses: LONG buffer time for some channels, some channels are not available, or only are available at certain times.
Overall Evaluation: Overall, for the price {freebie}, I have no complaints. You get what you pay for, and at the minimum I found several channels that are of interest to me. Worth the small installation space.

Weaknesses: Can't view over 90% of the channels it claims to get.
Overall Evaluation: This is a vastly inferior version of "Satellite TV for PC" by Satellite TV Club. There are plenty of buttons on AnyTV, but none of them can assist you in receiving any stations. You're even blessed with check marks or X icons to show which channels you can or can't receive, but even the check marks lie: you can't pick them up. In short, it doesn't work as advertised (it doesn't work at all) and FDRLabs needs to go back to its drawing boards and try again. And lots harder than it did this time.

Overall Evaluation: Very good. I have a couple other programs that I paid for (how stupid was that!) & this one is superor. Worth downloading.
