  Strengths: It scans with LOTS of scanners not just the program that you have like Kaspersky instead this scans with all of them.

  Weaknesses: Doesn't give you a report just scans.

  Overall Evaluation: I think this is a great program but after you right-click and click scan with VT it scans and then closes. I guess that's just because I haven't had a virus yet.

  Overall Evaluation: Installing undelete plus DESTROYS Vista. I'm not sure this software is not just a virus. The software installs and launches but does nothing even remotely close to recovering files. The start menu in Vista gets erased and explorer.exe does not act the same. I had to fully reformat and reinstall Vista Ultimate after installing undelete plus. Do not install this!

  Strengths: System Optimizer, System Cleaners, and all the other features

  Weaknesses: Duplicate Finder - I recommend for Advanced users

  Overall Evaluation: ASO is awesome! I’ve been using this product for years. I hardly use the windows tools because Advanced System Optimizer does an excellent job. Recently, my husband’s laptop will NOT defrag using windows and his computer completely slowed down and especially with Start up. I went ahead and installed and used this program on his laptop. He was a happy camper when it the start up was fast and everything was back to normal. On July 7th 8PM, I emailed systweak.com regarding any updates on ASO (purchased mine a few years back and another one on March 2006). I woke up in the morning and woolah! I got a response so fast from them. Not only did I get a response so quick, they also told me I can update or upgrade the product for a LIFETIME. They gave me a link to download the new ASO and NEW license key. Now, if only we can get this kind of service from other sellers? I’d give them 5 STARS for a great software, ease of use (I use all the features by the way), and what an EXCELLENT service! Thank you systweak!

  Overall Evaluation: First, I have to admit that it is a really amazing software. Among dozen of similar programs that I downloaded, I found that it was far away the best one. It is really convenient, easy and friendly to use and manage. It was exactly what I was looking for and I enjoy a lot to use it.

  Strengths: It would do a good cleanup

  Weaknesses: I always got hung up on a problem that I had the option of sending to the company but NEVER could send it.

  Overall Evaluation: I paid for this software in 2006 and right now I can't use it, I keep getting a message that my trial is over and on top of that I keep sending emails and they keep coming back. I notice on their web site that you have to pay at least $19.95 to get help. I simply refuse to do that as I paid for my software and I should be allowed to use it.

  Overall Evaluation: A brilliant program, wouldn't be without it, find it very stable, used it on XP for 3 years and now 1 year on Vista, have over 160 skins installed and many more on CD. Also have Cursor FX and Icon Packager from Stardock

  Weaknesses: Doesnt have a scrol bar like that in iTunes, and I dont know where to put the files. Does it go in a seperate folder or in the WMP program folder directory?

  Strengths: Runs on 2000 Server without a hitch as well as Vista! Nero doesn't like Server versions of Windows and wouldn't install.

  Weaknesses: Odd interface that takes some time to get used to.

  Overall Evaluation: This is a great program even though the interface seems a bit weird at first.

  Weaknesses: the default sounds it makes, ugh.

  Overall Evaluation: This is my favorite program for creating .ISO image files from both DVDs and CDs. It can burn to any drive, and if you're a geek, it's highly configurable. That doesn't mean you have to be a geek to just use it, it's dead simple. but if you like to change things, it's got everything you could possible ask for and more in the way of settings.

  Strengths: Easy to use you will want to read the MultiMax Readme first that is very important. The program looks great one of the better looking normalizers I have run across plenty of options to try to get your audio files the way you would like them to sound. Dont forget to make a backup of all your audio files.

  Weaknesses: MultiMax, DID NOT work for me. I did everything the MultiMax Readme Instructions said to do but my audio files DID NOT get normalized I still had to adjust the volume control. I tried the default settings first then I tried other settings with no luck. The program just does not work like MultiMax/Toshi Okada would like you to think it does thats why they give such a stingy trial period.

  Overall Evaluation: I would not use MultiMax as a matter of fact I have not found a normalizer that works like it should. It would be nice if somebody would come up with software that would work like they have at the radio stations. When listening to a radio station you never have to adjust the volume control all songs are played at the same audio volume. MultiMax claims to do that but the program just doesnt do that or work like it says in the file description.

  Strengths: More Secure than the windows firewall. Very customizable for the advanced user. Neophytes be wary. It is very easy to block programs while the firewall is in learning mode.

  Weaknesses: Can be confusing to those new with firewalls.

  Overall Evaluation: I have tried PC Tools firewall and that froze my system. Zone Alarm crashed my system ( Blue screen of death ). Comodo is the best free firewall I have used. I run a gateway with Vista Home Premium. Only AVG was easier to use but it ain't free. Thumbs up.

  Strengths: Simple interface, updates scheduler. Small disk space and system footprint. Does everything I need from AVG and the pieces I really use from Spybot/Adaware.

  Weaknesses: Scanning progression is a little weak, the hard drive flashes away showing activity but you can only tell what activity is ongoing if it locates a virus or a report finalizes.

  Overall Evaluation: I'm very impressed - as soon as I removed AVG free from my system and loaded ClamWin for the scan, it pounced on three very obvious Trojan signatures undetectable by AVG. It's free, open source so it's a robust community effort one can only expect from free.

  Strengths: It out performs all e-mail programs.

  Weaknesses: It is not a web based mail sender. You need to have an e-mail client to send your mail.

  Overall Evaluation: This program has everything you need to send the best e-mail. I have the Premium and the Gold memberships and would recommend these for any serious letter writer. There are more website with stationary than Outlook, Oulook express or any other mail program that I have ever found. It is easy to import your mail from most e-mail clients like Gmail. Gmail has so many bugs it is ridiculous, I just use them as a gateway for my Incredimail letters to be sent. I would recommend just the basic program if you are low on funds or just curious. You will love it!

I provided a valid e-mail address (with my private ISP), but after clicking "Submit" all I got was "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" and I never received any message from either subscribers@freshdownload.com or subscribers@freshdevice.com. So this was a real time waster.

  Weaknesses: There was no noticeable improvement in RAM speed or availability. When I moved the scale to the max, it said that much RAM was already available - NOT! The software does not boot up properly when I start my computer.

  Overall Evaluation: Poor! The company did not respond to my inquiry within 24 hours as promised. When they finally did respond, the response was just boilerplate, directing me to the FAQ on the website, which, of course, I had already checked and found no help. There is a "live person" link but no one is ever available to chat with.

  Strengths: This is a great program. I use it all the time. This program scanned my computer in about ten minutes. I use it on all my computers.

  Overall Evaluation: Did you notice that all the people that had it for only a couple of days gave it a bad report but everybody who had it for a long time really liked it? I recommend it to everybody.

  Weaknesses: 30 day trial only, then you have to pay. I'll stay with JetAudio and Real Player. Those are "free" with an option to upgrade if you wish and they work very well.

  Overall Evaluation: Don't waste your money or your time. What kind of people do they hire at PCWorld that would list this as free.

  Weaknesses: I wish some apps could carry over to other desktops. I use Rocket Dock and love it. It would be nice if there were an option in the preferences to chose what apps you could include in all desktops.

  Strengths: Vista compatible. Smaller footprint than previous editions.

  Weaknesses: Scans are painfully slow. Seems to be a cookie catcher. Not nearly as user friendly as older SE Editions-ex:2004-2005.Not as full featured as older versions.

  Overall Evaluation: To be used primarily as a Secondary App,or not at all.With product like Super Anti-Spyware and Avg Free Editions,Ad-Aware instead seems to be in the process of leaving the building. The De-Evolution of a once Proud Product.

  Overall Evaluation: The product (personal version) works as described! Excellent, in my opinion. The software is fast to backup the folders you specify and allows you to browse and view the backup email files through a very nicely designed interface. I have been looking for a good email backup program and this one goes above and beyond good! It is excellent!
