Strengths: I maintain a large membership list add on for my logging program I use for Amateur radio. Virtual Desktop allows me to have my logging program open with the membership window active, open Excel, open Outlook Express and bounce easily from one to the other. I get frequent data via emails of member adds and changes which come in Excel I have to modify to import into my logging program, and then save in my logging program folder so I can easily import the changes. So far everything is "cool" with no hangups, no freezes.
Weaknesses: I think a little more explanation of just how it works and the fact you won't see any Icons or really be aware of any visual indications it is working and available was a bit disconcerting. I just started opening programs and laying them out on the screen and then realized there would be no brass band and majorettes announcing it was up and working.
Overall Evaluation: I think it seems to be doing fine, works as promised.
