Strengths: I think this software is great for getting all of your photos in one place. I can view the photos and at the same time I can tag the photos marking all the people in them. Later, when you want to search for photos of a certain person, it saves you a great deal of time. All the photos of that person will come up in a search.
Weaknesses: The photo editing is weak. Even the red eye removal tool is weak in that the eyes have an unrealistic look to them after you use the tool.
Overall Evaluation: This software is a great organizational tool if you have a lot of photos.

Strengths: Nice to view pictures
Weaknesses: Well there printing program sucks, does not give much selection of prints. The drag and drop to one folder to another not good. I have all of my pics in my documents and use another printing program.
Overall Evaluation: Wish I could delete it but it all the pictures on my computer.

Strengths: None observed.
Weaknesses: Live Photo Gallery crashed when trying to load a large collection - 35GB, 400 folders, and 12K files, with the Nikon NEF plugin. It does not appear to recognize the folder structure, so it tries to put all pictures in one big catalog.
Overall Evaluation: My be OK for small collections, but not good for large ones.

Strengths: Haven't used it.
Weaknesses: You are taken to Windows Live website. This isn't a direct download of the Photo Gallery. This stinks like Google apps. I'm tired of all the Steam, Google, Windows trickery. Just tell us how big the file is already. "Your program will be up and running in seconds." Why do all these sites assume we all have 100MBPS connections? And why do they try to keep us from having a hardcopy of the download? If I need to reinstall for some reason I have to redownload. Waste of time.
Overall Evaluation: The 1 MB file size is grossly misleading. That only covers the size of the web installer. The app itself appears to be over 100MB. I wish the PCWorld editors would do a better job of compiling these pages. It would be nice if they offered a direct download, or at least state that it isn't one.
