Duration of ownership: 3 Months
Strengths: Stellar synchronization, flexible formatting, ability to store nearly anything, tagging and multiple notebooks make retrieval easy
Weaknesses: Very occasional slow syncing.
Overall Evaluation: This program quickly became one of the bedrocks of my personal "memory management. Some have mentioned concerns about rights to content. Check http://snurl.com/160zw8. That allayed my privacy freak concerns. Unless you avoid all interactions with others, it's impossible to completely guard rights anyway. I'm hooked on Evernote.

Strengths: The features sound like a good program, but I uninstalled after reading the privacy policy.
Weaknesses: Their privacy policy gives them the rights to your content, which means any of my original writing, photos, etc. becomes theirs.
Overall Evaluation: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" applies to Evernote.
