  Strengths: Great website, promises the earth

  Weaknesses: Slows Outlook down, causes Outlook to become very unstable, never really delivers

  Overall Evaluation: Was sold on the website and have tried Xobni on three different computer running XP and Windows 7. Same results every time, it turns Outlook from a stable programme that runs pretty nifty into a slug that crashes continuously. I have tried various versions over the last year or two but everyone screws up Outlook. Great idea but the product does not match the idea yet.

  Strengths: That email you need but can't find? Xobni's got it, right there at your fingertips, along with a load of information about the email's author and your correspondence history with him or her.

  Weaknesses: On some machines, it can slow the load time of Outlook. Once Xobni is loaded, however, there is no noticeable difference in speed.

  Overall Evaluation: I love Xobni because it has made digging through a gigabyte and a half of emails for the email I need as easy as can be. As to the complaints about spam and trojans, I would suggest that if user interaction is required to send the emails--and it is--the fault lies not with the program, but with the operator, if those emails are actually sent. Xobni does offer the opportunity to share with friends, but it does not share without the user's approval. Xobni is great and getting better all the time.

  Strengths: EXCELLENT TROJAN HORSE DELIVERY SYSTEM

  Weaknesses: During the initial mailbox scan it starts sending "buy me" e-mails to all your contacts.

  Overall Evaluation: It is amazing to me that Kevin Tofel PC World reviewer, would not tell potential users about this. The applictation starts sending e-mails to your contacts telling them you installed xobni and recommend that they install it also. This is done automatically and there is not way to stop it short of powering down your computer. After restarting my computer and Outlook xobni starts up automatically and starts the process over again. You cannot uninstall the application from withing Outlook. DO NOT INSTALL XOBIN!!!!!!!!!! IT IS A DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR A TROJAN THAT SENDS E-MAIL TO ALL YOUR OUTLOOK CONTACTS WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION.!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE WARNED.
