Strengths: Works
Weaknesses: Have to leave a network attached computer on.
Overall Evaluation: Here's the thing. If I have to leave a computer on, it kind of defeats the purpose of using a remote wake up. Better to have an old computer hooked straight up to your broadband modem, set up as a router with 2 NICs and using windows internet sharing. Then you have your other PCs connected thruogh a hub. Then you can wake up your router PC over the internet with any of many free web pages WOL service, use Tight VNC & WOL on the router pc to wake up and access any other PC on your network. Might seem like a lot of work, but it is all free and you can also use the first PC as an NAS. This also allows you to turn on and off your entire home network remotely. For Free, no monthly fee.
