  Strengths: relatively decent scanning speed

  Weaknesses: incompetent at detecting rootkits

  Overall Evaluation: Working in IT security, I have worked on many machines infected with a myriad of different infections, many including a rootkit component. Rootkits are VERY difficult to detect and remove, and this program doesn't help -- it has never detected a single rootkit, but luckily a pre-boot scan with Avast! spotted what Blacklight missed.

  Overall Evaluation: I don't have an evaluation of this product because it won't install. I even turned my popup blocker and my antivirus software off and it still pops up a window saying that has a problen and will close now. I saw that it didn't list Windows 7 as an OS option so I tried to run it in compatibility mode but it still won't go. ppppppphhhhffffffffffff NOTE: F-Secure does have one of the best "Online Scanners" thou. it found stuff Avast(free) and McAfee(paid) didn't on my two different Rigs. So its too bad this software won't work with Windows 7.

  Overall Evaluation: Didn't hang up. Didn't find anything. May rate higher than 3 stars, who knows.

  Strengths: NONE ! - Hasn't managed to run properly yet.

  Weaknesses: Stops running - program seems to stop running and gets stuck scanning one of its own files in "Documents & Settings" folder.

  Overall Evaluation: Since the program doesn't work, I must give it One star - sorry !!
