  Duration of ownership: 3 Months

  Strengths: Quick and easy entry into the world of Ubuntu Linux. Very simple install process.

  Weaknesses: Can still be presented with some cryptic Linux mumbo-jumbo during automated Ubuntu update process on rare occasions.

  Overall Evaluation: Simple way to distance yourself from the Windows sheep who are led to the malware slaughter. Need to get online and perform important transactions that require security? Just boot into Ubuntu and use Firefox (with the all important NoScript add-on installed by you), and you're set. Those who are complaining about needing a user ID and password must not have paid attention during the install. You're prompted to choose a user ID and password as part of the install; write it down and use it when it boots up the first time. Really no biggie. It does take some time to get used to windows action buttons being on the upper left rather than the upper right. Out of 3 PCs I've installed this on, one did not get Flash Player installed in Firefox, so I had to hunt through the Ubuntu software update process to pick it up and install it. A Google search on the issue led me to step-by-step directions on how to address it. Overall very pleased with the process and the Ubuntu Linux OS, too.

  Weaknesses: Ya same **** for me!!you can;t login in,Because your not given an Id,,or Password?
