    Strengths: It just worked!

    Weaknesses: None so far.

Overall Evaluation: I needed to extend my C: partition. I reduced the D: partition with a slider and increased the C: partition with another slider. Could not have been easier! Wow! Windows 7 Enterprise, 64 bit.

Strengths: Ease of use; completed tasks as required without any problems

    Weaknesses: none to report

Overall Evaluation: Partition Master Home Edition. Op System: Vista (upgraded from XP and using a RAID 1 disk setup) On this computer and other I have always partitioned my hard disks C,D,E,F,G and/or H loading various types of programs and associated programs into specific disks. eg. Disk C - operating systems, Disk D - MS Office and associated programs and related data. I reckon this works well however, the size I allocated to C for Windows eventually was not sufficient as Windows just grows, and grows, and grows, and grows.....with every other program wanting to install on C: Researched several options and Windows Disk Manager was not going to resolve the program. Following research on PCWorld decided to try Partition Master Home. It has done the required tasks seamlessly, effortlessly and rapidly without any prob;ems and all is working correctly at this stage. Taking the time to read the instructions first is highly recommended and makes the task easier to perform. Would recommend this program highly to anyone requiring to manage disk partitions. Well done EASEUS and if your other programs work as well you are on a winner.

Strengths: It has an interface similar to Partition Magic 8 which I used for about 4 years. Excellent control of any partitioning operation I need to do. It is much faster than PM8 and works flawlessly with Win7. I have the paid for pro version which works with the 64 bit OS. I truly see no lack of function for the freebie with the 32 bit Win7. A truly amazing product!

Weaknesses: I haven't found any yet.

Overall Evaluation: Back in the day (WinXP)PM8 was the standard. Now days Its Easeus Partition Master. I've only used it on Win7Pro and Win7Home both 32 and 64 bit OSes and love it! I recommend it to anyone needing to deal with partitioning a hard drive. I've used it to clone drives, re-size partitions, create and delete partitions, formatting, renaming, etc, etc. This easy to use and intuitive program is a must have. The online support and information is real good also. Partitioning drives is not exactly for novices but this program and the user info available can be learned with a little patience and study. Remember to back up your info first! Just a rule of thumb to live by. I've had no issues with this software. Its very stable. Download it and enjoy it!

Strengths: Simple to use, solved a problem that Partion Magic (which I paid for) was unable to solve. Extremely easy to use interface.

Weaknesses: None. It seems like giving away the best software in a field is a questionable business model, and I hope this company thrives.

Overall Evaluation: I had unassigned disk space which I needed for my VISTA system patition. Partition Magic kept giving me and Error 732, and told me to use FDISK. I did, but that did not help. I also tried other programs, as well as the partition tool that comes with VISTA, to no avail. EASUS expanded my VISTA partition effortlessly. I have had this problem for some time, and am thrilled to get it solved.

Strengths: Graphic display that presents the allocations clearly, and allows changes using my mouse.

Weaknesses: I haven't found any. I wish all software worked this well.

Overall Evaluation: I have three partitions on my first disk, and C: was too small. I had performance problems from insufficient free space. I moved F: and E: into unallocated space, reduced the size of E: then enlarged C: by 2 GB into the new unallocated space between C: and E:. Two reboots later, problem solved!

Strengths: Pretty intuitive to use. Did exactly what I needed to have done. Didn't really see any ads or otherwise inconvenience. Works with Vista.

Weaknesses: Didn't find any during limited use.

Overall Evaluation: Did what Acronis Disk Director (that I paid money for) could not do or that I could not figure out how to do. Tried Partion Magic (again, paid for) last year, but it didn't work at all with Vista. This time, needed to collect 100 gig unallocated space back to the C: partition. Used Acronis first to unallocate this space on the C: drive intending to create a new partition for Windows 7 RC so could dual boot Vista and Windows 7. After unallocating this space for Windows 7, found that could not create another partition because 4 partitions were already created, the Windows limit. ACER users know that there are C:, D:, and 2 hidden partitions on many laptops like mine so 4 partitions already exist. I didn't want to delete any of the ACER partions (yet) for Windows 7 so I was trying to reallocate the 100 gig unallocated space back to the C: drive and was unable to do this until I used EASEUS.

Strengths: Straightforward graphical interface, easy to understand and use

    Weaknesses: None

Overall Evaluation: I was able to resize a partition to make room to add an additional partition. I also resized three partitions on another drive. No muss, no fuss, no problems. Finished in less than 15 minutes.

Strengths: Super easy for a free product.

    Weaknesses: None that I found

Overall Evaluation: Thought my only solution to fixing my new drive after reinstalling XP besides paying $50 or $60, was to reformat and reinstall, but with this program it took about 2 minutes to fix the partition from 128g to 320gl Great product and easy to use.
