Strengths: Works with every format you can think of. Video/audio, doe's it all. with nearly 50 million downloads how can you go wrong. It doe's only work with Fire Fox which is far superior to IE8 anyways.
Weaknesses: None at all!
Overall Evaluation: I could not live without it. Get the video conversion with it for $28.50 US but well worth it.

Strengths: This great Firefox add-on will download nearly any type of video format to your hard drive. Flash, shockwave, Quicktime, you name it. Plus if you get tired of YouTube, it can recommend nearly over 200 video sites directly from your browser. Not only that but it well download and save audio and photos.
Weaknesses: Only works with Firefox, however you can go directly to the developer's website and download videos there with IE.
Overall Evaluation: With the proper player (I recommend Media Player Classic at free-codecs.com), you can save a playback virtually any type video format. A great little tool.

Strengths: I will say good because if you read the publishers page, there are no bad words about this. Second of all, it says its for the Firefox OS. So no, it wont work with IE. So dont slam a product that wont work with a certain OS. Some OSs dont play well with attachments or other programs.
Weaknesses:
Overall Evaluation: I cant say good or bad, I dont use FireFox(FF). But on my next system, I will.

Strengths: I have no idea. It does not work with Internet Explorer
Weaknesses: From what I can see, it only works with Firefox as a browser. It will not work with IE, the most popular browser on the net.
Overall Evaluation: Misleading from PC World. Should say that it only works with Firefox.
