Strengths: YoWindow provides weather forecasts through an innovative program, easy to download onto your PC that turns your monitor into a window on conditions and weather forecast for any location in the world. Provides real time temperature, apparent temperature, barometric pressure and barometric trend, speed and wind direction, humidity, moon phase, ephemeris of the place, etc.. METAR weather data from. Try it, not be able to live without!

Overall Evaluation: This is a very good program that just beginning to get started. Given some time and development it will be very good. I predict in the future that there will be more landscapes available and/or people could construct their own landscapes.

Strengths: This is a constantly evolving piece of software with very committed young men improving it daily. Issues mentioned in the first couple reviews have been dealt with and are no longer a factor. You can now use weather from your personal weather station if you have one and for US users, forecasts from the National Weather Service. No need to purchase a license, but for $9.99 to see your current and forecast weather why wouldn't you?
Weaknesses: Some might say that the current lack of alternate scenes might be a weakness. Those will come in due time.
Overall Evaluation: Outstanding and improving daily.

Strengths: Small and fast multilanguage download. Very friendly and fast developer team. If your location is not there, that is the most common trouble of many other meteo programs, you can ask in the forum, and it will be added in a matter of some day. The interface itself is clean and elegant, a pleasure to watch. The program update the weather online and also have the capability to interface with some personal weather station. Their developers are working for costantly improving it, and the forum community is quite nice. Altought it can provide a premium subscription, allowing some extra function, it really dont nag the user as many programs, compelling it to buy it in any way. Personally, anyway, I believe that will be a nice thing if people will buy that licence, because the developers deserve the support of the users for the job done, and the fee is very small. What else to say about? Go at their site and download it, you will absolute love it!
Weaknesses: Strangely compelling to watch. Addicting!
Overall Evaluation: Very impressed about this little program! It's not every day that you can find such nice pearls of software around.

Strengths: Very easy to download, install, and to use. If you cannot find your location or if your seasons seem to be wrong, supply the information to the author and it is fixed within a day (sometimes within hours). Some other strengths are the webpage version and the online version. I use the webpage version to be able to see multiple locations at the same time allowing me to plan what activity and what location that I would like to do and go to. No other weather software will give me this capability.
Weaknesses: I have found no weaknesses.
Overall Evaluation: It is a very impressive weather system!

Strengths: No bloated download. It is just the YoWindow program. There is no tricky install. Very easy to use and if you city is not listed the author will add it very quickly and if you have your own weather station you can use this software to enhance it!It is best most accurate weather program that I have used to date.
Weaknesses: None that have been found

Strengths: Good video; accurate information
Weaknesses: After three days, you will get a large type message that the weather info is expired; 'Get the premium version" for current weather. This is not labeled as shareware or a trial anywhere that I can find; what a ripoff.
Overall Evaluation: Producer/supplier should be up front and honest about the premium status.

Strengths: Elegant weather and sunlight reflection in a picture. Time scrolling to any moment in future. It's so easy and so natural just to scroll the time to the evening and check the weather. It seems there is no other software that does this.
Weaknesses: Only one landscape so far.
Overall Evaluation: The reviewer offields seem to miss completely the point of YoWindow. You have the natural view on the weather - just like the view from your window. But you may look not only at the current weather but at any time in future - at the weather forecast. That's fantastic! There are 25,000 locations. You may even ask the developers to add your own if it's missed.

Weaknesses: Far too few "locations." Doesn't have my own hometown or any town within 60 miles of me.
