Strengths: It can knock out malware not detected by Norton, McAfee, or AVG.
Weaknesses: Too bad we cannot make a grateful contribution to the company. I don't need or want the full version, the free version makes a good companion to my current suite of maintenance software. I'd just like to leave a tip!
Overall Evaluation: Thank you, Malwarebytes for picking up on a virus that nobody else could find. You did wonders for my XP system. It makes a great companion to existing malware/maintenance suites.

Weaknesses: Manual update
Overall Evaluation: A must have in conjunction with Sbybot; Strong believer in redundant utilities

Strengths: Works halfway well, once I finally got it installed. Avast finds more viruses.
Weaknesses: Due to kernel or something mode of operation it won't install on many infected systems. Support was rude and demanded I run a highly problem-ridden utilty called Combofix; after reading others' experiences I refused, and support wouldn't help me further. Eventually got it to work after reinstalling Windows on a clean drive.
Overall Evaluation: I have it running as backup protection but not all that impressed with it. Malwarebytes needs to clean up its act.

Strengths: Does get rid of malware
Weaknesses: Conflict with windows vista and windows 7. It disables the ability to create shortcuts on the desktop. In addition, it prevents downloading and installing software (updates and new software).
Overall Evaluation: Bad software. To many problems to be of any use. Creates issues where there none. Also may interfere with scanning software.

Duration of ownership: 1 Years
Strengths: It does an excellent job of catching viruses and other malware and the signature download times for updates are only about five seconds long (pending that you haven't waited for two weeks to update).
Weaknesses: Although it does a good job at catching a lot of malware it doesn't do too well at catching spyware.
Overall Evaluation: This is a good product and devinetly something I would recomend to anyone
