A Better Temp Taker

Last October I recommended the free Motherboard Monitor program for tracking your PC's temperature. Clyde White of Newport News, Virginia, endorses Alfredo Milani Comparetti's free SpeedFan utility, which monitors your CPU and hard-drive temperatures, and also controls fan speed. It even changes your clock speed, in case you enjoy living dangerously. SpeedFan is newer than Motherboard Monitor, so it likely supports more motherboards. Go to SpeedFan to download your copy.
