Though the outward appearance and navigation of WorldBench 6 resembles that of previous versions, much behind-the-scenes work has gone into making sure it runs reliably on all editions of Windows 7 as well as Windows Vista and XP. This includes all 32-bit and 64-bit editions of those operating systems.

How does WorldBench 6 work?

WorldBench 6 is fully automated. Application tests are scripted to run consecutively, and those results are automatically combined and compared against a baseline system. Popular applications like Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Mozilla Firefox are each a component of the final WorldBench score.

The WorldBench score and the individual application test times are available at the conclusion of testing.
