You can preview the mails from the server and directly read / delete or reply to the mail.

The popup not only tells you that you have mail, but also the sender and subject of the mail.
It also has an easy to use and a advanced programmable spam filter,
to which you can add text, mail adresses or program rules.
With the advanced feature you can also use wildcards and parameters,
and set the filter to reply to certain emails with text and parameters.
It also has an Common Online Spam filter fuinction.
MailCheck can also copy itself to a floppy disk,
so you can run it to check your mail on another computer.
