Deploying the Pano System requires the following components: VMware or Microsoft Virtualization Software – one of the following: VMware: vSphere 3.5 or later Standard Edition and vCenter Server Foundation Edition, VMware View Enterprise or Premier Editions (Pano System 3.5 is certified on View 4.5), or VMware vSphere 4 Essentials Hyper-V: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V or Hyper-V Server 2008 R2, and System Center Virtual Machine Manager Microsoft Windows – a Windows Virtual Desktop Access (VDA, formerly VECD) license for each Pano Device. Supported operating systems are 32-bit versions of Windows XP Professional (SP2 or SP3) and Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate Editions. Server Hardware – a server with a Xeon Dual or Quad Core CPU at 2.0 GHz or faster, is recommended, with 1 GB or more RAM for each active DVM. A separate Windows PC workstation is also required to assist with setup and configuration. Peripherals for each Pano Device – compatible USB keyboards/mice and VGA monitors. Network Infrastructure – 100 Mb/s or faster switched Ethernet LAN, DHCP server, and optionally a Directory Service server like Microsoft Active Directory for user authentication.
