This is the full, 361MB installer for people who haven't previously installed Desert Combat. The latest version (v. 8) of this full-conversion modification of Battlefield: 1942 adds new maps, new weapons and vehicles, improvements to sound and graphics, and overall gameplay balances and improvements. The mod allows you to play as a modern combatant in either a "coalition" army (usually the US military) or an "opposition" force. The game is loosely based on the US-Iraq Gulf War and modern conflicts in the middle east, Africa, and elsewhere. |
