Description Even the least expensive memory is a crummy deal if it turns out to be defective, but how do you verify that the problem is your memory and not the various other possibilities? DocMemory is diagnostic software that detects all types of PC memory failures. The installation program automatically creates a platform-independent, self-booting disk. Insert this disk in the floppy drive and reboot your PC to begin testing your system memory. A test pattern exercises both the PC's base memory and extended memory to locate defective memory, without the need for you to remove memory from your computer.

Available memory test patterns include algorithms such as MATS, March B+, March C-, and Checkerboard. Selecting "Burnt-In Mode" captures 95 percent of PC system soft memory failures. You can also edit the test pattern and other parameters.
