If you spend late nights slaving away on your PC, this theme might be right for you. It turns the text fields of your screen black, with white lettering--and gives the scroll bars and menu headings a dark, phosperescent glow. The theme is based on the Dark Shadows TV show; an image of Barnabas, the hopeless romantic and reluctant vampire, sits on the center of your desktop. The image, quite frankly, leaves little to be desired. But overall, the theme is effectively creepy. When you open some applications, for instance, it will launch a .wav file that refers to ancestors being buried. For all the ghoulishness, however, one has to admit the white text on a black background is easier on the eyes. |
