| Description | It's such a cliche, but I've got to say it: This is Pong on acid. George Mason University student Steve Taylor put his higher math skills to work when he crafted this stunning freebie, which graphically simulates plasma that sprays, sloshes, and oozes across the Pong playing field. Your paddle can also blast or suction plasma at your command, complicating the trajectory of the ball in ways 20th-century Pong never imagined. Equally fun and interesting is the Sandbox area, where you can experiment with the free-form graphical effects in a non-competitive way. Combine modes like Swirl, Sink, and Emitter with effects like Jello, Viscosity, and Gravity for a truly psychedelic experience. The game is suitable for all ages, and Taylor is at work on a screensaver to satisfy popular demand. --Leigh Anne Jones |
