Windows Media Player is a nifty tool, but there's always room for improvement. RVCDPlayer is an interface to Microsoft Windows Media Player. It uses the Microsoft MediaPlayer ActiveX Control to play video and audio files. RVCDPlayer plays MPEG, ASF, DAT and AVI files (depending on the codecs installed). It recognizes VCD 2.0 disks and lists the appropriate DAT/MPG files. It also plays audio files, including MP3 and WAV. RVCDPlayer automatically lists your CD Drives and lists all video files on the CDs. It also displays the file sizes of the videos, which is useful for VCDs that contain more than one DAT file. RVCDPlayer saves the last position of the video being played. The next time you open that video file, it will resume from the previous position.
