For those of us who want to know what's occurring beyond our cubicle walls, this application lets you view important information about different countries. The main information screen lets you examine a map of the country and the flag, and you can click a button to hear the national anthem play. You can display general information such as area, population density, capital city, GNP, and GNP per capita. Zoom in on any area to display cities, rivers, and main peaks, or click on tabs to learn about a country's geography, history, people, government, economy, transportation, and military. You can view the most recent data available from the CIA World Fact Book 2000. The data that you find can be printed or exported to a word processor or spreadsheet. |
