Description Welcome to IE Profile Manager This tool was developed to maintain different LAN setups and proxy settings for the Internet Explorer. Particularly users of mobile personal computers may know this problem when hooking onto the LAN in different places. There are certain features supporting automatic configuration of the Internet environment, but often they are not in place. The necessary settings need to be done manually. How does IEProf work? After installation, IEProf shows you the current IE settings for proxy IP addresses in a dialogue window like you know it from IE itself. Now you can start to modify particular settings for different LAN environments and save every profile. Different to the original IE setup, you can choose and save additionally a start page for every profile. Selecting a profile and clicking on the Start IE button will reconfigure the appropriate IE settings in the Registry and start IE itself after that. You can also double click on the profile name in order to start IE. In Automatic Mode, IEProf can be run during system boot. Once you have defined the appropriate profiles, it will set the Internet Explorer settings acccording to the current IP address. That enables you to directly start the IE whereever you are, and you will always have a correct configured Internet Explorer. This IEProf version supports Windows 2000 and WIndows XP only.
