The ultimate goal of Gentium is to provide diverse ethnic groups around the world with a digital resource to present their complex languages. Even without that lofty goal, the typeface itself is refined and modern, yet classically elegant.

Contemporary serif TrueType font Jura remains legible when small, but carries its weight at large font sizes, too. It's an excellent all-around font, and it's donationware, too.

This slab version of the popular Museo feels solid but never stuffy. Give the free 500-weight version and its italic a spin; then you'll know if you need the other weights.
