This workgroup unit has a high price tag, but it's very fast and thoroughly equipped. The solid-ink technology produces laserlike results with less fuss and lower cost.
Impressive print quality is the highlight of this small workgroup unit. Speed and features are competent. Toner costs range from average to a little pricey.
For low volumes of printing, the Pixma MG4220 fits nicely into a home office. However, black ink is expensive, absurdly so with the standard-capacity cartridges.
Excellent output makes up for this color inkjet multifunction's deficiencies, but its color ink is expensive.
