At A Glance

This attractive router is simple to set up and offers plenty of features that both consumers and small businesses need.

It's expensive and its firmware is a few features short of the competition's, but the Linksys WRT1900AC is the fastest 802.11ac router you can buy today (today being April 16, 2014).

This router is easy to set up and it has great remote-access features, but its 802.11ac performance leaves a lot to be desired.

The Linksys WUSB6300 isn’t the fastest performer, it doesn’t have a hinged USB interface, and it doesn’t come with a cradle. And yet it has a nosebleed-inducing price tag of $70.
