Manufacturer’s Description
The bolt iPhone 5 Defender Series Case from Otterbox offers excellent protection with a three layer approach. The two-piece polycarbonate inner shell is surrounded by a rubber outer layer that protects your phone against bumps, abrasions and drops. The unit also includes a plastic screen protector that is built into the inner shell to guard the delicate screen of your phone. Rubber plugs are provided to cover all openings including the ports, jack and volume controls. Cushioning foam and silicone help absorb impact. The two-piece inner shell snaps together around your phone and is then covered with the rubber outer band. The Defender comes with a clip-on holster that includes a rotating clip that also doubles as a handy stand. The unit can be used with or without the holster. Full access to all ports, controls and features is always available. The unit is designed so that the phone can be inserted with its screen facing in or out. When it faces in, total protection is provided.
