The Hoodman Steel 16GB CompactFlash Card 1000X features SSD flash inside. SSD (Solid State Drive) Flash is designed to replace hard drives in computers it is the most stable reliable flash you can put in A CompactFlash Memory Card. SSD lasts through 500 000 (half a million!) cycles of life. 1 cycle of life equals filling the memory card and then reformatting the card.Using this state-of-the-art technology keeps RAW CF cards shooting 490 000 times beyond the point where its competitors fail. The Hoodman RAW Compact Flash Card is a UDMA Mode 7 device which maximizes the performance of cameras using the UDMA protocol. UDMA cards will work with both non- UDMA and UDMA enabled devices.
