The accessory shoe on the top of the Leica D-Lux 6 also acts as the mount for the Leica EVF 3 Electronic Viewfinder for D-LUX 6 Cameras with a resolution of 1.4 million pixels.The Live-View offered by this electronic viewfinder allows the photographer to view the subject through the lens and assess the precise composition of an image just like when using a DSLR system camera. With a resolution of 1.4 million pixels the viewfinder is particularly useful when shooting under extreme lighting conditions. The Leica EVF3 electronic viewfinder also offers photographers who wear glasses the enormous benefit of diopter compensation.
