A More Affordable Choice for Effective Communications. The 3Com 3101 Basic Phone provides simplicity for offices and ease of use for employees who need affordable, basic communications. A listen-only speakerphone, a multiline display, and 10/100 Ethernet connectivity enable users to stay connected to their peers when the sophistication of a full-featured business phone is not required. The 3Com 3101 Basic Speaker Phone can be easily deployed by leveraging its built-in support for Power over Ethernet. In addition, the phone offers a switch port that allows a computer or similar Ethernet device to share the same wiring, eliminating the cost and complexity of running a second cable to each location.
