The Western Digital 500 GB Caviar Blue Internal Hard Drive, featuring a SATA 6 Gbps interface, 16 MB data buffer and 7200 RPM rotational speed, transfers data at a top speed of 126 MB/s. Shock resistance of up to 350G helps the drive withstand accidental drops. In addition, ShockGuard technology provides enhanced protection against shocks and vibrations. With IntelliSeek technology, the Caviar Blue Internal Hard Drive calculates optimum seek speeds for reduced vibration, noise and power consumption.
