Manufacturer’s Description
The V3000 Gateway Chassis contains four card slots so that you can connect optional interface cards to your NBX system. Two redundant uplink ports provide 10/100 Mbps switched Ethernet connections. Use the upper port to connect to the LAN. The lower port is normally inactive and becomes active only if the upper port experiences a link failure. Both ports show a positive link status even though only one port at a time is active.
