Samsung LN-S3251D
Samsung LN-S3251D Review
- The Samsung LN-S3251D is a much more attractive television than the company's LN-R328W set that we tested before it. The two models have similar features, with mostly comparable connections. However, the LN-S3251D received a better rating thanks to its very high image quality scores and slightly more adjustability to its cabinet.

Strengths: This LCD HDTV rocks and for the price it is hard to beat for the quality you get. The picture is superb, the contrast and color in HD is just totally awesome with my Dish Network system. Even the blacks are really dark. I recommend using the component cables for video and not HDMI as the color will be down graded some and the blacks tend to fade and get pixely. As far as using it for a computer monitor it will be fine to use the HDMI.
Weaknesses: I have heard various complaints on the sound but when you have such a thin TV what do you expect. I actually think it has not to bad of sound for the demensions it has. Most people who want such a TV usually have a Home Theater System as I do to give the sound they really want to hear. As far as any other weaknesses that i can think of their really isn't any and i have used this LCD TV for quite some time now and put it to use everyday.
Overall Evaluation: In my opinion Samsung has done a fine job in their new line and as technology gets better they will too. I have nothing bad to say about this LCD HDTV and I suppose if they wanted to try and make better sound come out of it, it might be kind of hard because of the tight space. You can't have everything unless you maybe spend $1000's of dollars and even then one might not be totally satisfied. Give this LCD a chance and for the one's who purchased it and it didn't work, that's life and mistakes do happen and electronics do fail and I'm sure they replaced it with one that did work.
