Cornerstone P1750 Black Monitor
User Reviews for Cornerstone P1750 Black Monitor

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Flat screen, sharp display, works day in day out.
Weaknesses: The black band that is on the edge of the screen on all monitors seems larger than it should be but..this might be normal on all 22" monitors
Overall Evaluation: I have this same monitor, beige bezel instead of black. Its a nice monitor, there might be some that are a tad sharper but you'll pay twice as much for a small res gain. This is the type of tube that has the two small grey tension wires going across the screen, their about the thinkness of a hair. Looking at a white screen you can see them, any others with color they pretty much dissappear. And..as time rolls by you get used to them and rarely are bothered by them. Other monitors use this same time of tube, not just Cornerstone. All in all for this price level its well worth the money, you'll be floored at the large screen size especially if you do any gaming. It is a big, deep monitor..make sure you have room on your desk,or that the back of the monitor can hang off the back end of the desk. David
Cornerstone Peripherals P1750 Review
- While most LCDs still offer better text than CRTs, the P1750 is a respectable option for people who prefer a CRT's virtues--such as the lower-than-LCD price for a comparable screen area and the ability to support several resolutions. Though it uses the same core electronics as the NEC MultiSync FE2111SB--which we also evaluated for our February issue--the P1750 earned noticeably better text quality scores from our jury. But that performance edge comes at a price. At the time or our review, the P1750 sold for $150 more than the FE2111SB, and Cornerstone offers a scant 8 hours per weekday of telephone support, in contrast to NEC-Mitsubishi's round-the-clock coverage.
