Strengths: Quiet. Low purchase price. Auto-duplexing. Incredibly low cost per page.

Weaknesses: Paper tray capacity is too low. However, two-sided printing of draft documents does help.

Overall Evaluation: I purchased this printer for our law office a couple weeks ago. It has worked flawlessly and the network connection was a piece of cake. Now all of our computers can print directly to the network printer without the need for sharing. The only problem I had was getting it to work with a very old, soon to be disposed of, Windows 98 computer. However, the Samsung website had the necessary driver and the problem was solved once I shared the printer through another newer computer.

Strengths: Speed and print quality

Weaknesses: Support is bad, good luck if you ever have problem with their products!

Overall Evaluation: After buy support is awfull! After two months I am yet to see my printer back from warranty repair and they dont want even to extend warranty for that time! I know that I will skip Samsung in my purchases in future.

Strengths: Doesn't work

Weaknesses: noisy and doesn't print

Overall Evaluation: This is an update. I'm changing my rating from 2 stars to 1. The printer continues to become noisier and noisier. It sounds kind of like a garbage truck when it's printing. Also there is virtually no customer support or even adequate instructions. When you call the help line, they put you on hold for 45 minutes and then hang up. Right now my printer refuses to print for no apparent reason, and there's no way to fix it since there's no customer support. Original review: Pretty fast B/W laser printer that can print two sided. There were no instructions for set-up, but I managed to figure it out. My main complaint is that the Samsung is too noisy, especially if it's on the desk with your computer. A noisy machine sounds flimsy, and it may well be, although I haven't had any problems yet. Even when it's not printing, it makes a very annoying high pitched whining sound. I set it up so that it goes into "sleep" mode after five minutes of non-us...

Strengths: Good Network/Duplexing workhorse with no Jams

Weaknesses: NONE

Overall Evaluation: We've had the ML 3051nd for 2 months now and it has been a charm of the network, duplexing workhorse. We print 2 sided books for the children using 3 hole punch paper. With over 2500 page printed so far and one one jam up, and that was because of a curled paper and not the machines fault. The networking set up easy and works fine even on the wirless from downstairs. In all, after having 3 other Samsung Printers I need to say that this one is the best we have owned and used. All of our Samsung's have been used with over 40K pages thru them over time and never a problem with a Samsung. Wish I could say that about the other brands of networking/duplexing machine but I can't. So if you're looking for a good all around printer I would say this is one to consider. The Service and Delievery from Provantage was very good also.
