Duration of ownership: 6 Months

Strengths: QuickBooks 2008 has enhanced multi-user capacity and a better help menu. See more here: http://quickbooksdiscounts.blogspot.com/

Weaknesses: Not that much different than QuickBooks 2007. See why here: http://quickbooksdiscounts.blogspot.com/

Overall Evaluation: It's worth the upgrade for the enhanced vista operating features and multi-user support. See my blog here: http://quickbooksdiscounts.blogspot.com/

Strengths: - Simply the best...gets even and even better every year - So easy to setup and use - I can easily work with my accountant - Has everything that I need to run a successful growing small business - Payroll integration is totally cool

Weaknesses: - A bit more expensive this year but still worth the price

Overall Evaluation: Outstanding value! This is the king of all small business accounting products. Anyone looking for a package do not even consider others.

Strengths: improved start screen from 2005 edition I was usingeasy to install

Weaknesses: still does not allow matching of checks processed by IRD numbers. This seriously needs to be addressed. It has been an issue for over a year.

Overall Evaluation: Overall better than 2005 edition but still needs work. Needs to incorporate IRD transaction numbers applied by banks so that matching of transactions can occur easily. Otherwise I have no further comments on this product.

Strengths: Easy to use graphical interface. Lots of new reports. Painless conversion from QuickBooks 2006.

Weaknesses: Weak unimproved invoicing.

Overall Evaluation: We were forced to upgrade to QuickBooks 2008 when we purchased new computers with Windows Vista. The installation was quick and painless. The updated interface is nice, but it still feels a lot like QuickBooks 2006. Significant changes seem far and few between. We were really wishing for improved invoicing features including memorized transactions from invoice to invoice, but there were none. Unfortunately, invoicing is the same clunky interface from 2006. Overall, unless you need Vista compatibility, I recommend you save your money.

Strengths: supreme book keeping features and online tools

Weaknesses: only 3 user licence

Overall Evaluation: This version of Quick Books will replace your old versions without a hastle that you may have with your company database. It will seamlessly finish the process of merging and converting your company data to this upgraded version
