    Strengths: sharpe vivid photo's ton of feature's comfortable in your hand actually feels like a solid well build water-resistant camera

    Weaknesses: hard to find any samsung len's have to purchase pentax len's hard to find a case to fit this bad-boy but worth owning !!!!1

    Overall Evaluation: excellent pic quality green buton very helpfull for the novice...complicated at first but it does get easier with use....picture preview button very usefull......loaded with features worth the investment

    Weaknesses: low light IQ, movement in camera, hunting for focus sometimes

    Overall Evaluation: I like this camera. It was gotten at a reasonable price. It takes nice big 10 megapixel pictures of very good/excellent image quality. The optical stabilization is in the camera so you can get cheaper lenses. I thought low light pictures were a bit blurry but I need to test some more. It handles well. It just feels good in my hand and I'm glad I got it. Doesn't feel as bulky as some DSLRs. Nice grip on it. I think the IQ is as good as the more expensive newer DSLR I had tried out right before this one. I like this and hope to take a picture I can sell to news organizations for $40,000 someday. I'm sure they'd like the image quality.

- Can changing the name on a camera save you money? Yes, when you take the Pentax K10D and call it the Samsung GX-10 Digital SLR Camera. The former, with a 27-83mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens sells for $800, more or less, while the latter--virtually identical camera body and same lens--sells for $750. Given the GX-10's features, it's a bargain.
