Strengths: 16 Million people use it. Books are written for it by Quicken and Third Parties
Weaknesses: Selections show as pop up windows. Very annoying. Having to buy books. Synching with palm requires a lot of work because you have to accept transactions on desktop first for balances to be correct
Overall Evaluation: I use both a major personal software managers. Quicken syncs with it's own palm version software by a third party manufacturer, with this said once you sync with the desktop the totals will be incorrect. You have to go to each sync account and accept the transactions. Unlike the other software I have which runs on palm and pocket pc and when synched the desktop and PDA match automatically. You are probably saying that's not a problem but, if you're like me and have 7 Credit Accounts and 10 Checking and Savings it is simply too tiresome for me to sync and go to each one and accept transactions to see correct balance. I live by my phone PDA and the other leader let's you even see your bills. And I have 27. If you stay by your pc and don't use a PDA Quicken is average and acceptable. For the road unnacceptable.
