Lexmark PrinTrio X75 Review

- WHAT'S HOT: At a price of $100, Lexmark's PrinTrio X75 is designed to appeal to people on shoestring budgets. And though it was far from the fastest printer of the seven MFPs we tested, it managed the third-best score in our scan speed tests, beating out more-expensive entries from HP and Canon. On top of that, unlike some faster units, it produced respectable-looking color scans, again finishing among the top three in that category.Like the Lexmark X5150 and the Dell A940, the X75 includes Abbyy's top-notch FineReader OCR software on its driver. The OCR function delivered scanned text to a range of programs, including Microsoft Word.

Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Very easy to use and the options are great.

Weaknesses: Can't think of any.

Overall Evaluation: I love this machine. The only thing I say to the guy that couldn't get the CD to works is that he didn't follow the instructions. This machine has been great and I love the printouts. With all of the options that it has, I would recommend this to anyone.

Strengths: Good Price! Very easy to use! everything is Great!

Weaknesses: the color doesn't macth my PC.

Overall Evaluation: I am an art-major student. I use it to do my homework and it's just great. In such a good price, you just can not ask for more. The installation CD worked on my brand new DELL computer( Windows XP ). I don't know why someone said it didn't work on his. Prints will turn out a little bit darker than original images, but you can adjust brightness before you print them.
